Once upon a Jewelry
It all began at home. Ifat was born into the world of diamonds and gemstones.
Her late father, Albert Mashiach – one of the founders of Israel’s gemstone and diamond industry and Chairman of the Gem Exchange – paved the way.
In the 1980s, Novel Collection was established – a family-owned international diamond company, still a leader today in the field of natural and colored diamonds, holding one of the rarest and largest inventories of its kind in the world.
With operations in Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, China, and Dubai, the company is also the source of raw materials for the Ifat Ovad brand.
Alongside this extensive experience, what has always driven Ifat is the personal, emotional connection – and the desire to create something beyond aesthetics: jewelry with meaning.
After years of working in the family business, Ifat chose to express her own voice, and in 2019 founded the brand that carries her name. With over 30 years of experience, a sharp eye for beauty, and intuitive precision, she creates jewelry that touches, moves, and accompanies life’s most unforgettable moments.
